Any Agile/DevOps adoption in an organization goes beyond writing new processes and publishing a QMS. Agile/DevOps adoption asks for a change in the mindset of the people in the organization. For this change to be a continued one; for the change to sustain - it is important that organisations undertake a formal Change management program, or else they run the risk of individuals falling back in to the 'way they had always done things'. This talk will focus on the specific changes that are necessary within an organization during Agile/DevOps adoption, and what organizations can do to systemically ensure the adoption of these changes. The talk will also share the experiences of a large Indian IT service provider in its Agile/DevOps journey and how it addressed organizational changes.Speaker Profile

Customer Focus Quality Management = Customer + Code + Quality + Management
1. Difference between Class A software vs Class B software is not Quality difference, it is scope difference
2. Customer does not want Quality , just want functionality working
3. Customer does not want to invest in Quality
This presentation will share the view of customer. Customer always wants quality product and they understand that the challenges, but what is important are following points:
1. Transparency with customer regarding the Quality
2. Explain customer what is Quality for you? Stopping talking Quality from the testing point of view
3. Train customer towards Quality Process rather than feel that this is only your Job
Current International and Domestic Business environment is of intense competition and globalization is no more a choice .Most of the CEOs and functional heads are operating always in a "crisis like situation".Conventional wisdom says business is about Profits and hence Business Excellence is about Improving Profits. Profits again by conventional wisdom were done by maximization of revenues and minimizing costs. But this seems to be a question or a problem statement rather than an answer. The current Business Excellence Frameworks need to be strengthened to make them more effective to changing business dimensions. The answer lies in the uniqueness of how your business excellence program operates under your organization's unique strategy and your underlying Vision and the culture of your organization. The presentation will like to share few insights on same.Speaker Profile

Products and Platforms business unit in KPIT is responsible for the R&D activities around newer technologies, products and platforms in the automotive domain. When it comes to product development, one of the challenges any organization would have is to do with faster time to market, close communication amongst internal stakeholders such as product managers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, etc. We realized that Agile methodology almost puts everything together and addresses most of these challenges. While we got onto Agile transformation and change management process, with lots of debates and deliberations, we decided to adopt a very novel approach in implementing Agile. The entire approach in training, communication, tooling, tracking and monitoring, process changes, etc. was very unique by trying to follow the fundamental principles of Agile to have self-managed and self-organized teams and projects. So we took a strictly “no spoon feeding” approach, and adopted rather a self-evolving and forming-storming-norming approach. In our presentation we will speak about this approach, its pros and cons, lessons learnt, tools used.Speaker Profile
