Serverless architecture helps the developers to write code without worrying much about the server configurations or platform in which the application is running. In the serverless approach, each application components will be run as separate functions so the user will be charged for actual run time instead of pre-allocated resources, thus reducing the cost of running and managing infrastructure. Since we are using Function as a Service (FaaS) offerings for designing and deploying the application, the scalability is automatically controlled by the platform and it happens at the function level. For e.g. If one of the functions requires more compute power, it will scale to meet the demand.
