The Kolkata IT Riders (KITR) is an initiative of UNICOM to run India's most prestigious Quiz on Emerging Technologies FOR Students & Freshers.
UNICOM is organizing IT Riders 2016 - Kolkata to showcase professionalism, knowledge and aptitude of students in India.

Game Plan:
Qualifier Round 1: Online on 24th February, 2016 - Duration 30 Mins [Time: 5:00-5:30 PM(IST)] FREE
- Link to take the quiz would be sent to nominees via email 2 days before the quiz
- The quiz can be taken from anywhere - college / home / browsing centres, etc. You need a quiet place with internet connection.
- This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 40 Multiple Choice Questions
- Based on performance selected teams will qualify for final to be held on the day of Conference.
- Selected Candidates will be informed via Email.
- Those who get selected need to pay Enrolment Fee for finals. In case of non-payment, entry to finals will be withheld.
- Enrolment Fee is INR 200 per team to attend finals at 8 am.
Finals on 18 March, 2016 (Time: 8:00AM - 8:30 AM) in Hotel HHI

- Pen and Paper based quiz.
- This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 20 Multiple Choice Questions
- Winners and Runners-Up Teams will be given Prizes by our Chief Guest.
What are the Champions Team is taking home?
- Winning Team - Gold Medal and Certificate to both players in the team
- First Runner Up Team - Silver Medal and Certificate to both players in the team
- Second Runner Up Team - Bronze Medal and Certificate to both players in the team.

Is there any participation fee?
There is no participation fee to take qualifying Round. Teams get selected for the Finals need to pay INR 200 + Service Tax per team as participation fee. This fee includes attending finals on 18th March 2016 at HHI, Kolkata.
