Biography

Sharmistha Chatterjee is an evangelist and seasoned professional in ML and cloud applications.
Sharmistha has graduated from Aalto University, has published research papers, and filed patents. She has led digital transformation of clients on verticals ranging from Retail, BFSI, IOT, and Telecom. She has proven experience in leading teams to develop scalable AI solutions, enabling revenue upliftment of several million dollars. She is a 2X GDE, an author and a multi-award-winning data scientist. Her community contributions include blogging, speaking at international conferences, and being a startup mentor at Nasscom’s deep tech club. She is a guest speaker in universities (like BITs Pilani), WIDS (Women in Data Science by IIMB) and others. She has served as an invited judge in APAC Women in AI awards, and chair for Silicon Valley ML conference. She is also the co-author of the book ‘Platform and Model Design for Responsible AI’ with Packt publisher.

Reinventing testing and debugging process automations with LLMs
The aim of this talk is to bring to light how automated testing and debugging processes with LLMs can help software enterprises, reduce critical failures, security breaches and financial loss. In this aspect, the talk will highlight how LLMs play a vital role in detecting code blocks that are responsible for bugs, and reduced code quality, thereby assisting developers with explainability on code performance. By the end of the talk, the audience will be equipped with knowledge on how LLMs can be best leveraged with explanations for the failure of test cases, or generated patches, to increase developer productivity by enabling them to make efficient and accurate coding decisions.
