The 4^th edition of the annual corporate quiz contest on Big Data, Big Data Champions League 2017 is back!!. Purpose of this contest is to identify India's most knowledgeable Big Data Professionals. This year, the format has changed with a different list of topics. Will you bring laurel to your organization and to yourself?

Big Data Champions League will be organized by UNICOM in 2017.

Over 4000 IT professionals from 800+ companies in India and abroad would be participating, with experience ranging from 6 months to 25 years and professionals in Big Data

Big Data Technology Champions League is an initiative of India Analytics and Big Data Summit 2017 and UNICOM to run India's most prestigious Corporate Quiz on Big Data Technologies. BDTCL will be presented by UNICOM.

List of Topics that will be covered in Big Data Technology Champions League:

Qualifier Round 1: Online on Jan 11, 2017 - Duration 30 Mins [Time: 4:00-4:30 PM] FREE

• Link to take the quiz would be sent to nominees via email 2 days before the quiz
• Quiz can be taken from anywhere - office / home / browsing centres, etc.
• This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 40 Multiple Choice Questions
• Questions have been designed to be generic covering all areas of Big Data Technology. Most delegates will find questions to be easy.
• Based on performance selected teams will be qualified for Round 2.
• Selected Candidates will be informed via Email.

Semi-Finals in Bangalore on (09th Feb 2017) PAY (08:15 am to 08:45 am)

• Format - Pen and Paper based quiz.
• This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 20 Multiple Choice Questions and 2 Situational and Subjective Questions
• Top 4 teams will go to finals.
• Certificates will be provided to all semi-finalists

Finals with 4 Teams in Bangalore (09th Feb 2017) (Time: 4:30-5:00 PM) in Bangalore

• Format - Oral quiz to be held on stage
• Quiz will have Audio and Video Rounds with Live scoring. Contest Format will be explained at the beginning.
• This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 20 Multiple Choice Questions and 2 Situational and Subjective Questions
• Result will be announced at the Venue by 5.30 PM. Winners and Runners-Up Teams will be given Prizes by our Chief Guest.

What's the Big Data Technology CL winner taking home?

• Winners - Gold Certificate and Gold Medal to the winners
• First Runner Up Team - Silver Certificate and Silver Medal to both players in the team
• Second Runner Up Team - Bronze Certificate and Bronze Medal to both players in the team
• Winners shall be facilitated with the awards on the same day of conference (i.e. 9th Feb, 2017) at the venue.
• Every semi-final participants will be getting the certificate.

Who is eligible for Big Data Technology Champions League'2017?

• Anyone who is professionally involved in Analytics/Big Data(at all roles)is eligible
• Student/Fresher is not eligible

Is there any participation fee?

There is no participation fee to take Qualifier Round. 
However those who get selected for Semi-finals will need to pay Rs 15,000+ Taxes per team as participation fee. This fee includes - 

• Attendance @ SemiFinals and India Analytics and Big Data Summit conference in Bangalore on 09 Feb'2017.

   • Yes, This contest is open to all corporate citizens who have passion for Software Development & Big Data.
2. I am a free-lance consultant in software development/testing. Am I eligible?
   • Yes, This contest is open to all experience professionals (working or freelancing) who have passion for software development.
3. I am interested but do not have a partner. Can I still participate?
   • No, This contest needs to be registered in a group of two. Single nomination is not acceptable. So kindly find a suitable partner and register.
4. I am not in software domain. Can I participate?
   • Yes, you can try your luck. :-)
5. My friend and I are students and passionate about Hadoop. Can we participate?
   • No, This contest is not for students.
