UNICOM Introduces new challenging competition for UX/UI Designer's to design Future smart cities/ smart apps for Singapore.

UX DesignCon and Designathon is one of the most interactive conference on User Experience and Design that is held in Singapore (in March and November every year) with the Theme "Two days of inspiration, education and skills development".

UXUI DesignCon 2016: (18th March,2016)
The UXUI DesignCon is aimed at meeting the needs of all those involved in UX and UI, providing a range of stimulating keynote lectures, seminars and workshops and the opportunity to network with colleagues from other companies in the region. Get introduced to the world of latest technologies from Thought leaders that can improve the design scenario and business.

UXUI Designathon 2016: (19th March, 2016)
Designed like a hackathon, this event is loved by beginners and expert designers. Here we form a team of 5 designers of varying experience from beginner to expert level. Then we make the teams design a prototype of a new product, learn how to develop MVP (Minimum Viable Product), do customer interviews to validate their ideas, learn how to involve team in designing process and learn the techniques of prototyping a product.

Game Plan: (Designathon)

Round 1(Qualifier): Online test on 25th February 2016 - Duration 30 Mins [Time: 05:00PM - 05:30PM(SGT)] FREE

• Register on or before 22th February 2016 to participate in Qualifier Round.
• The quiz can be taken from anywhere - office / home / browsing centres, etc. You need a quiet place with internet connection.
• This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 40 Multiple Choice Questions.
• Link to take the quiz would be sent to nominees via email 2 days before the quiz.
• Selected Candidates will be informed via Email.
• Based on the performance, Candidates will qualify for finals to be held on the day of Designathon, Singapore (19th March 2016).
• Selected Candidates will have to pay a nominal fee of USD 800

Finals @ Designathon in Singapore (19th March, Time: 09:00AM - 05:00PM - @ Village Hotel, Changi)

Designathon will be conducted by a well known personality from the UX UI Industry.

• Pitching (followed by judging and awards)

Who is eligible for UXUI Designathon 2016

• Students/Fresher's are not eligible to participate in UX/UI Design  2016.
• Anyone who is professionally involved in UX/UI Design (at all roles) is eligible.

YES. UXUI Design Summit (18/03/2016) & Designathon (19/03/2016): USD 800 per participant.
